Mrs Joëlle PASTOR-BENSA


After studying at the Faculty of Law in Nice, Mrs Joëlle PASTOR-BENSA was sworn in at the Monaco Court of Appeal, at the age of 22.

 

She undertook her traineeship with Mr Jean-Charles MARQUET and then Mrs Hélène MARQUILLY, where she trained principally in insurance and tort law as well as construction law.

 

She was elected to the National Council (Parliament) between 1988 and 1993.

 

Following her traineeship she started as a Lawyer then was appointed as an Defence Lawyer in 1993.

 

She was President of the Association of Lawyers of the Monaco Bar from 2005 to 2007.

 

She is a member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (Governmental College)

She is an officer of the order of Saint Charles.

 

Her working languages are French, English and Italian.
